We split the cost of the butterfly knifes and each got one and will be typing seperate sections.Black: I think it is good quaility and it is one of the funnest fidget toys I have.Rainbow: Personnally I really like the color and the shape of the blade. It does have a lot of play (The handles moving apart) but you can easily learn intermediate tricks with this. The latch if you play with it for long enough will get loose enough that it gets annoying in tricks, but you can get it off real easy with pliers.Silver: I think it is amazing that they could give such an amazing product for so little money. I will say you should probably pick up some lubricant before getting these. Ours came ok, enough to do tricks with, but our friends came EXTREMELY stiff. Which is ok, because with a little lubricant it will loosen up just fine. I have seen a lot of reviewers complaining that their knives fell apart easily. For me that has NOT happened. I have had my knife for a little more then a month now, using it 4-5 hours a day, and it is still holding up GREAT. The screws have loosened up a little, and it has developed more play, but for $5? VERY good value for the money. I would also like to say a few things about the flipping of knives in general. For some of the tricks you will have to practice a LOT. and I mean like 2 hours. Second, if you want to learn tricks but don't know where to start, I reccomend either squid industries videos or big flips.

Good quality

The set of 3 for the price is awesome. One did end up losing a small screw so it broke quick but the extra two work perfectly fine. Did end up putting some WD40 on two of them so it could move smoothly but over all perfect to keep my boys busy.

I brought it to teach someone on how to use a butterfly knife. It’s also a good tool to carry around for personal protection even if it’s not sharp. It still can hurt a would be attacker if used correctly and strikes at vital body parts. A real butterfly knife is illegal to carry here in the US (at least in California).I agree with other reviewers about it being a bit tight. And because of the pin stoppers and notches, it does not close and open correctly because the notches are too shallow. I have to file the notches bigger and deeper on both sides of the butterfly covers so it will open and close properly and comfortably on my hand, especially for smaller hands like my wife’s.

The blade was not sharp. Good for practice. Very durable. Has good grip. Looks nice, medium weight!

Great balisong practice, safer than a blade obviously. All three of them however have a really hard time locking. I had to file the handle a little to get them to lock. The silver one is so tight it won't spin and is hard to open and close. The black one is a little better but still really stiff .. the rainbow is smooth and loose and locks a little easier than the other two. Need better quality control

Weight and craftsmanship on point with these. Well made and durable. If you’re just starting out like I was these are perfect for price and quality. Face it they are gonna be dropped and you will want to pick them up and keep practicing. These have lasted the rest of time and they flip just like they did when I first got them. Easy buy

My 9 year old son liked these until we went to get a better quality one for $30 at the swap meet. These balisongs are ok but for the price you can't go wrong if you are just starting out. Its a good way to get a feel if you will want to get more serious. The quality is not the greatest but it will get the job done. I also recommend removing the latch as it seems to get in the way while you do your tricks. So yeah I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for quality balisongs but if you are just trying to figure out if you want to get into the hobby then this may be a good solution to test that out.
