I personally think the Marvy jar looks way better than the Barbicide jar because of the glass design and the lid is a bright chrome compared to the dull heads on others. They both work the same but the only difference is the appearance which The Marvy jar has the better look. The jar comes in a thin box inside of a plastic bag and the lid of the jar isn’t secured so you can hear the lid rattle around when you first get the package but the other amazon packing box kept it safe. Some reviews say they received broken jars so I do think that can happen during the shipping process if it’s to rough on the amazon box but mine was fine so the review isn’t bad and I’m happy with my purchase.

I love the stylish spiral molding on this jar! Bought this large size to fit my large curly-hair combs. Even at its large size, my widest comb only fits with the tray removed, and my longest comb has to be placed in the solution one end at a time. One thing I wish they'd done was include the 1:16 dilution markings for concentrated Barbicide. Right now it's a lot of guesswork. I'm tempted to add my own markings using tape or permanent markers.

The jar is wide and big enough to shove her large comb/brushes in for a quick sterilization, beside the various tools of the bathrooms. She was hoping to have a design that bedazzled enough, large enough, and elegant enough to make her bathroom feel more royalty. It goes to show, there's no hope for a man's design to keep things sanitized and satisfy the woman's needs for vanity.

I’ve had a few of these disinfect jars and by far this is super thick glass and very sturdy! Worth paying more for this then then the cheap thin glass ones which have broke on me
