From gymnastics, soccer, figure skating, tennis, basketball, and more... readers are inspired by the trials and triumphs of these 25 athletes. What an inspiration!

Essays on different female athletes and champions from many countries. Wonderful and inspiring. Short and to the point. This is a good way to get the younger reader interested in athletics and to research more on the athletes mentioned.So glad that The Rebel Girls series exists.Note: I received an advance copy from NetGalley. So glad that I did. I had heard about the series, but had not read any of the books before. I would like to read more of the books and would recommend them to young readers.

This is the second book my 7 yo got to read in the series. We sponsored the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls via Kickstarter. Now I received this on NetGalley so we read it electronically. She remembered any overlap and wanted to skip those pages for now. She usually wasn't happy just reading 1-2 pages but wanted half a dozen before we could get to lights out. As the dad I also enjoyed the stories and drawings. Each was well researched, positive in nature though many showed how the athlete made it through various challenges to get where they were, and also represented many parts of the world.I'd definitely recommend either book and I'll like get one or more of the series.

We loved this book! My daughter is a big fan of the Rebel Girls, so this book was a treat for the both of us. We enjoyed learning about women from around the world who have done amazing things in sports. The illustrations are high quality and in keeping with the previous books' styles.

Rebel Girls Champions by Rebel Girls is a beautiful book with biographies of female athletes past and present. Each athlete has a page dedicated to them and then paired along side an illustrated portrait. The athletes covered are from the past and the present. There is so much historical detail about what each athlete was up against. It is presented in such an informational yet inspiring way. I loved learning about women advocating to be included in the Olympics to how current athletes have become advocates themselves. I was able to read this with my daughter who is in 3rd grade and we loved it. She wanted me to note how happy she was to see Simone Biles included!Thank you so much to Rebel Girls and Netgalley. I got this book for my 8yo niece who is a very athletic child and plays a lot of sports: She's been loving reading these stories about women athletes of all ages and backgrounds and was amazed that there was a time when women would not have been allowed to participate in many sports that she plays now. It is also cool as there are some younger athletes written about in this book who are are in her age cohort/her generation so she can see that people her age are also out there doing amazing things!!

My niece loved this gift. The pictures are nice and bright and the print is kid friendly!
