The lights are a big help in seeing the print. So much better than previous ones. It is a little heavier, but I expected that with the glass and batteries. Making it an inch larger would be super, but I wouldn't be able to hold it. I had a problem with the batteries dislodging and had to push them back in place.

At best this is 3x magnification and the seller has neglected to add the decimal point to the 30x variable stated. This should be flagged as 'not as described' or 'misleading'; however it is a very good 3x magnification lens, being very clear and easy to use with a good light. If this was sold as such, it would have got a 5 star rating. Why the deception?

These are not too lightweight but are very comfortable to use. The only thing I did find was that when putting them down after use the batteries would come loose and the lights would not work until you had opened the handle and pushed them back into place. I got some double sided tape, quite a thick one, and put two small pieces over part of the batteries and after closing it up it was perfect. Batteries stayed in position from then on. I bought two and same thing happened with both so obviously not a one off. Apart from that small problem they are absolutely brilliant. I would certainly recommend them to everyone.

I was surprised at how strong this glass is. I was able to see so much detail, that when it arrived I went round the house looking for things to magnify! Also went into the garden where I could see details of very small insects. The lights are also extremely powerful and it's nice to have the warm light option if I'm looking at text at night. It's an all round excellent strong magnifying lens

My wife suffers from dry-eye and has the first signs of a cataract in one eye. And so we thought a reading magnifying glass would be a help. Well, it certainly is that alright! She now wonders how she ever managed without it, and the fact that it illuminates is just amazing! Yes it maybe rather weighty to hold, but that gives the impression that it is solidly built (and it's not so heavy as to be a problem) My wife really loves it and regrets not ordering this item months ago! I'm now in her good books, so what's not to like! I hope you find this review helpful.

This magnifying glass has been really helpful, the glass is very clear and the magnification is quite strong. There are 3 different light modes, white light, soft light and both together. Great for inspecting small items or reading in the dark. Great for the kids to play with also.
