They look nicer than the plastic ones but they are too quiet! I play in a band and use these for performing and I would have to hold this directly next to the microphone even for an acoustic set to hear it. I ended up returning them and getting the cheaper plastic ones that are much louder.

The product is made in China had I known I would not have purchased.The sound is dead.Do not recommend.Am returning the product!

These eggs were beautiful. Thought it'd be good for my 2 yr old and 7 month. My 7 month got it pretty far into her mouth, think we will have to wait a bit to let her play with it. Pretty sure its ages 3+ anyways.

These are perfect gift for kids and beginners that don't want to be heard loudly. About 3 feet away and you can barely hear it. Its ok? I thought I would have a deeper sound but it works for when I want just practice or follow along would use in an event. Sound more like rain sound effects than maracas. Almost can't hear it with music playing.

I like the product over all. They are well built and attractive. However the sound is muted and wouldn't be loud enough in a group is my guess. Haven't actually used them with other yet though.
