MISS BUTTERWORTH AND THE MAD BARON

I was not sure what to expect, but I loved It. All the misadventures of Miss Butterworth. It is fun and very cute. It is a wonderful graphic novel!

I’ve read bits and pieces of this book from the other Julia Quinn’s novels and this full version did not disappoint. The ridiculousness of the book makes it so great. Adding on the graphics makes it even more amazing. I did get a bit sad for the author halfway through because of her recent loss, but I think this book can serve as a legacy left behind by her sister. I love it all! I enjoyed every words and every graphics. The one thing I still don’t know is why it is called “…and the mad Baron.” Know that this is not your typical graphic novel. I did get lost in the storyline at time and you probably will do too. However, for me, knowing the background of the book from reading all of Julia Quinn’s other novels referring to this story, it makes total sense. If you find yourself lost, find all the novels that refers to “Miss Butterworth and the Mad Baron.” I’m excited for everyone else to read it and enjoy the ridiculousness of it all. Thank you violet and Julia for bringing this to life.

Lecture facile et rapide, très agréable. Chouette moment

L’histoire est hilarante! Je la trouve un peu proche de Jane Eyre. Mais quand tant d’autres sont calqués sur Orgueil et Préjugés ca change un peu. Le dessin est sympa. De plus connaître l’histoire après avoir lu quelques passage dans la série des Bridgerton est intéressant. Je recommande chaudement!

This graphic novel is a nice surprise. I hadn't expected it to be so witty and entertaining. The story itself is correctly situatie in the time and has nice details that make the story very nice, endearing and moving at times. The explanation for the 'madness' is very realistic.I hadn't expected this when I came across the story of Miss Butterworth in the other Julia Quinn books.
