Universal Compatible CA1240 12V 5AH First Alert ADT Alarm Battery Replacement Beiter DC Power

Battery is fine but specs a little confusing. Details show 4AH, picture shows 5AH. I got a 4AH one but it should be more clear for buyers. I assume it has to do with the stock the seller has on hand because the battery I received is from a different manufacturer. No big deal. Works as it's supposed to in my ADT alarm panel.

A little too soon to comment on this battery's longevity. However, after several hours in service and charging during this time, it did rate a full charge on my battery tester. It's price was great and free shipping, too. Our local Batteries Plus wanted twice as much for the same battery.

Just got this, so not sure about longevity. And as warned in the instructions that came with this, it may take up to 48 hours for the battery to fully charge and for my alarm to stop giving me a “low battery” message.This was the best price I found anywhere for a battery like this, and the delivery was really fast. But what most impresses me is that this came with a useful information/instruction sheet that included such hints as warning my alarm company that they’d be getting notifications of low battery for next couple of days. They also include contact information in case I have questions.I’m happy with this product so far, and impressed with the company.

I must have received a returned or defective product. I had a low battery alert on the old one I had so ordered this but didn’t replace the battery until about 20 days after the return window closed. This battery had lower power than the one I had replaced. I just ordered another brand and it’s cheaper than this one. It will also arrive in two days whereas this will take 6 days.

The low battery alert is so annoying that I installed the battery immediately after it was delivered and after it charged, no more beeping! The battery was delivered well within the time frame I was given, was well packaged, the price was right, and it is as advertised. The last replacement battery lasted 7+ years, hopefully this one will, too. If it doesn't, I won't shop around for a replacement but will just go to Amazon.

This battery is really good. Reasonable price for a reasonable product. I ordered this battery, choose standard mail and i got it in three days. And once i installed this to my alarm system, the warning sign that was appearing on my display screen of my alarm system was gone in seconds after i installed the battery. It's worth buying...I highly recommend you folks to buy this if you need..

When I got this product, I immediately installed and my alarm system fixed and no more beeping at all. I recommend to everyone.

It works as advertised. So far so good but to early to tell. The price was right so if I get 8 years of service like I did with the original battery I will be happy.

My alarm service light came on! System is about 10 years old. So ordered the battery and worked great! No more light :)
