This was the second type of no tie shoelace I bought the first one was more of an elastic that you find on sleepwear, they had no give to them and I accidentally pulled them too tight. These are great, they look more like real shoelaces and they have give. They were relatively easy to put on, you really do have to make sure you don't cut too much off, they give you an extra lace for mistakes which is nice, but make sure the shoe is on your foot and you pull tight but not too tight so you can stretch them to slip them on and off. You can actually leave them a little longer and just pull on them once the shoe is on your foot and they will stay tight. I bought two different colors one for sneakers and one for work sneakers and they have lasted a few months and are still good, and I have no issues with them at all. Walked three hours in one pair of shoes and never lost the felling of tightness of my shoe.

My husband had Osteonecrosis of the Hip and recently had a hip replacement. While researching products we could get to help him in recovery we saw one suggestion was elastic shoe strings so that he could easily put his shoes on without my assistance if he needed to.Found these and they seemed a decent price so we went for it.They were easy-ish to install. You put them on like a normal shoelace but you do have to do some fanagaling for figuring out where the clasps go. You have to kinda guess how tight you need it to be, tie a knot on the laces where you want the clasps to be, slide the clasps on, then cut off the excess. My suggestion is to make them looser than you need. Since it's a lot easier to trim the laces down and make them tigher if you need to than to try and make them longer.I did remove a star though because we did order the teal ones and ended up with the navy blue. I would have exchanged them but my husband needed the shoe laces right away and we didn't have time to.They have been on my husbands shoes for a couple months now and they have stayed in place and needed minimal adjusting after having put them on his shoes. He is able to easily get his shoes on and off now without having to bend over. The ONLY issue we find is that the tongue of his shoe does like to dip down inside when he puts them on sometimes but I feel like that might be less the laces and more his shoes design. At some point I plan on using some needle and thread to just put a couple stitches through the laces to attach them better to the tongues and see if that helps.

So ever since I started wearing On Clouds with the elastic laces, the pairs that come with them, I have been wishing all my shoes had elastic laces.Then these came into my life! For the price, I mean what could you say bad about them. They work great, come with 3 actual laces in case I guess you’re an idiot and mess one up, like I almost did, plus the screw buckle to hold them together. Instructions tell exactly how to do it!They look great! Shoe doesn’t slip up and down and most importantly no more tied laces, just slip them on and GO!!!!

I can’t believe how fantastic these laces are. I ended up buying them for all my shoes that have laces. Easy on easy off. If you need your shoes to be tight for some reason, these may not be for you, but they don’t give that much. I bought them for high top and I love how easy it is to put them on and take them off.

I was a little DISAPPOINTED because this package contained only (3) shoestrings and (2) turnbuckles. I am pretty sure the last time I bought these there were actually "4" shoestrings and (4) turnbuckles. But I re-read the description...and it no longer shows this. So, my error for not reading closer.

These are very nice laces. I was happy to find the salmon color that my shoes had. They make getting my shoes easy to put on and more comfortable. Love them!
