This works!
I've taken up exercise again at the age of 56 after a period of being mostly sedentary. I was finding that daily walking was giving me lots of aches and pains in my joints, but after taking this for a couple of weeks I am feeling much more flexible and pain-free. It could be because I am just getting fitter, but the way I look at it, if I am minimising the risk of joint inflammation and 'feeding' them, at my age this can't be a bad thing. It's hard to read the small print on the container, but apart from this, great product. (Two a day with food by the way).

Attractively packaged glucosamine and chondroitin capsules
My wife and I have been taking glucosamine and chondroitin for some time now, as we've both had issues with our joints. It's not a magic cure and the effects aren't instant, but after a while it does seem like they help. Compared to the last brand we tried, these capsules from Oxford Organics contain exactly the same ingredients in exactly the same amounts. Being partially sourced from crustaceans, they aren't suitable for anyone with a shellfish allergy (or principled vegeterians or vegans) but other than that there's nothing in the ingredients to be concerned about. They come in a small black plastic tub that looks like it might be a beauty product. It contains 90 capsules, which is enough to last a month and a half if you take the recommended two capsules a day. This provides reasonable value for money but still works out as more expensive than some other brands. The capsules themselves are reasonably large but not excessively so - I found them comfortable enough to swallow. I swallow them with water, so there's no particular taste that I've noticed.I've given a four star rating simply because you can get similar capsules cheaper if you buy a larger bottle, but you can also find them selling for far more, so all in all it's a reasonable price for 90 capsules.

I recommend Glucosamine for arthritis, these are a good strength.
Having had arthritis in my joints for many years, I swear by Glucosamine. Sometimes I take it with chondroitin and other supplements, but that very much depends on the deal I can get. These tablets are more expensive than my usual brand but are a higher strength which is a good thing.Glucosamine and chondroitin are normally in white tablet form, these are capsules and slightly yellow due to the inclusion of ginger and turmeric, see pic for comparison. Not suitable for vegetarians, vegans, and pregnant women.Manufactured in the UK.If you suffer from a similar ailment, I would strongly recommend you try some but make sure you give it at least a couple of months before judging the result. With the ingredients all being natural supplements, I see no downside to trying.Whether this helps your pain and discomfort seems to be a very individual thing, I have recommended it to friends and acquaintances some get the same relief as me, others report no effect whatsoever. I even spoke to a specialist once who told me a similar tale with no medical proof to support it.In summary, I would recommend the use of Glucosamine in some form, with these tablets being wholly suitable.
