Excellent product. I will say I have to pull on my door while it locks because my door weather strip makes my door close tightly in order to line up the lock but that would happen with any brand keyless entry. I score this lock 10 out of 10. Save your money and buy this product no need to buy the expensive brands!!

We have a busy house with quite a few of us coming and going at all hours. (2 nightshift workers) I made multiple attempts to get extra keys made but none of them actually worked. This is a perfect solution for us. The door remains locked and keeps us safe, however we can come and go easily without disturbing anyone no. It was very easy to install, and it was up and running in a very short time. You can have multiple passcodes, so each person may use a code that they will easily remember. It does come with a key so that in the event you forget to replace the batteries, (it warns you when they are getting low) you still can gain access. Great product!

I've only had it a month and after the first time, it has trouble locking. It'll try and than open again. Hoping it is temporary. The unlock part always works, put in the code and it'll lock. hold any button and it'll lock (or at least try to).It was extremely easy to install and swap out from the prior lock, start to finish under 15mins, maybe even less than 10mins.

Nice features. It would be nice if batteries were included. A lot of plastic parts, mostly the inside part. The only installation issue I had was the door strike, had I used the one provided the new holes would have been too close to the existing ones. Hopefully I’ll never find out if the lock would standup to repeated blows. Oh, and they only provide one key.

This is our favorite lock, but after eight months we did come across an issue. About 80% of the time, the lock now does not lock with the button hold feature; it just beeps at us about 10 times, even when the door is open. Thankfully we made a copy of the single key they gave us and have been using that as a backup (or main, given how often this happens) to the amazing code feature.I'm writing this review after I contacted customer service about the issue. The LaView customer service is really good. They quickly responded to my request and after trying to help me troubleshoot, decided to send me a replacement lock to swap with my malfunctioning one. Joe was the representative who helped us, and we're glad to have had him help us.
