not what I expected
the hard arrived quick and well packed. (thanks amazon)unpacked - instructions very sparse , usb 'c' hub erm, not how I would describe it. To use it your cable connects into the usb C hub, was expecting to get that as well. but how hum, maybe I did not read it right?adds extra ports to your Mac mini so that's good.price, think its well over priced, for a basic hub.

Handy for backup
More expensive than standard hard drive enclosure but extra access ports make it very useful. Works fine so far with Samsung SSD.

works well with M1 Mac Mini. easy to install Internal SSD. I fitted a Samsung EVO 500GB very fast. Recommend

It does what it says on the tin
It just works as ot should. Sounds strange? Well quite a lot of Tech is overly complex and convoluted to be a simple go-to. This works well and feels well made and the type C connection is a nice feature.

Drops connection - Frustrating
Drops connection randomly for just a second every few hours, this connection drop causes the operating system to then find it and reopen the hard drive - very annoying. Otherwise it does do what it's intended to do and build quality is fine for it's price point.Plugged into a USB C 3.2 port so should be no reason for it to drop connection.One other annoyance is Windows 11 sees the SD card slots as empty drives - other card readers I have used do not until a card is present.
