Nature's Seed Bahia Grass (1 LB)

My St. Augustine Grass died completely this spring. I bought the bahia seeds and used just put them on top of the dead St. Augustine runners without any prep of the ground and covered it with 1/2 inch playsand. I watered it for a week every day and it sprouted and it is growing beautifully. I have my lawn complete reestablished for less than $50. Thats awesome. Highly recommended. You have to make sure the seeds are covered though!!

The seeds sprouted. The key is to sow them when it is not too hot and dry; cover it with a thin layer of soil, water it everyday until they sprout. I sowed the seeds in winter when there was no snowing. Once winter had passed and when there was a mixture of rain in Spring and sunshine, they popped up en masse.

Good grass seed. Took about two weeks to germinate, but came up nicely. Coverage I'm guessing at about 60-70 percent.

Almost all the seeds germinated within a week. Excellent product! Photo is from 3 weeks in.

This seed worked fine. I am in Florida and the seed that came from a Florida seed farm died but this seed from out west is growing strong.

None of the seed took root. Very disappointed.
