Kona Guitars KESSCSB Dakota Quilted Top Double Cutaway Electric Guitar with 2 Single Coils and 1 Humbucker

I like the comfort of the guitar: the indented arm rest and the tuning keys on one side. The guitar sounds tinny to me; I hope when I replace the strings it will improve. The knob that is not the volume, turns and turns before it stops either way and appears a little lose to me. The thing I noticed right away was the fret bars are sharp and extend very slightly over the neck on either side of each one, they should have been filed. Every now and then one of my fingers might feel the sharpness of the metal. I'm not in love with it as I was when I first got my Urban. The tone is not as pretty as the Urban; the harmonics are very pretty. I hope the strings improve the tone.

About the Kona electric guitars number One: the picture does not do it justice. Two: It sounds good not great my guess is when the strings are replaced it will. Good enough action a little fussy I guess that is fixable. All said this is something that I didn't expect either. My opinion Kona guitars are up and coming made by musicians for musicians.
