Good sewing machine but product package dated 17 months back and product damaged during handling.
The Usha Janome Excella DLX product itself is a very good automatic sewing machine. My review and rating are related to the product delivery. But the item delivered to me had a packing date which was 17 months back, so it was lying in a warehouse for a long long time. The box was damaged and the machine had panels which had opened up. The demo technician clearly said that this machine was probably thrown to the ground by the warehouse staff, even though its a brand new product. I had to call the Usha service center to repair/fix the brand-new machine, after which things are working fine. This was entirely a fault at the seller warehouse rather than at the manufacturer's end.
