The design is nice and deep enough. Was hoping the brass would be thicker, but it's certainly not flimsy. Bought two. One has a wick holder that doesn't sit flush with the bottom of the cup, so it sits higher than the other lamp's wick holder. But the difference is not noticeable once you fill them with oil and light the wicks.

This lamp is fine if you only want to burn the lamp for a short while -- say, an hour or less. It's just so small, that you will have to refill the lamp for longer times. So, it depends on your need.

Its great, just what I wanted

This brass diya lamp is very pretty. Perfect size for a meditation alter, small room, or bed table. It's small, but there's a great deal of detail in its design. Unsure at first, I only bought one, but I place it both on my bed table and in my yoga room. Will likely purchase another.I deducted a star for the poor condition of the package (glad its brass) and there are one or two slight design flaws, but not a big deal. Recommend.

This is small and it doesn't hold a lot of oil...so if you are planing on burning these all day you will have to replace the wick and oil at least 2 possibly 3 times during the day/night.

It is a very small item and its price is too much. Absolutely no value for money. Please don’t waste your money. Not worth it. The tag shows it’s value around 50 pence in India.The threads are faulty, can’t put it back. Not to be listed on Amazon site . You can’t return this item back as well.

For years I have been meditating, using candles as a light. I have always wanted to try using an oil lamp and thought this would be the best type. I got some cotton wicks and filled the lamp with olive oil. The flame is wonderful and stable, no flickering, no drips, no waste and amazingly the lamp stays cool when alight. Lovely lamp.

Using this as my devoo fro my late wife.Found the traditional lamps difficult to keep lit for more than 4hrs at a time and wicks were hard to keep going.This lamp burns 12-16hrs no problem before topping up and the wicks last 4 days before needing replaced.I can now focus on her instead of being stressed about keeping the lamp lit.

Lamp is cute and does the purpose. But if you are Indian and you know how this product cost back in India then this is no Value for money. You can get the same product of 25 nos for the price quoted here.
