So, my building and the parking lot lost all outdoor lighting two+ weeks ago and the mgmt company could give a rat's behind about our safety or the annoyance that being in the pitch dark in this city represents, so I was forced to take things into my own hands.I decided to buy this thing in the hopes that it would give me enough light that I would feel safe taking out the garbage or going between my car and my home until the lighting situation is finally (hopefully?) resolved.I waited for a couple days and it arrived! I ripped it out of its box, plugged it in to charge and two hours later, it was fully charged and I was ready for my night time test walk.I do think its weird how it used a fanny pack clip to secure it, knowing its meant to be worn on the head. I think there were other, better, more comfortable options they could have used instead of a big, hard, bulky fanny pack clip. That said :I got it adjusted to my head size easily and it never has to be unclipped again. It fits onto my head (or around the brim of a ball cap or a beanie) really easily and surprisingly comfortably too. It is generously sized so that even people with very large heads can wear this. Its not really for children's heads but I guess you could pin the headband strap to make it smaller. Or maybe could stitch it?I wasnt given a color choice and I wish I was, but this wasnt meant to be a long haul thing for me and the price was right so I got it. Turns out, its fine even though the colors arent my favorite.Now: this sucker is brighter than those floodlights on police cars that they shine in the bad guys' eyes when witnesses have to make an identification. If you dont know, THATS BRIGHT. And this little dealie is BRIGHTER.It has a few different ways it can be used. There is a pen light type deal mounted to the side. And there is a softer, flexible strip light on the band too. That strip can be operated by HAND MOVEMENT. YES. How cool is that? So, if I set mine to that function, and Im out walking around at night and run into a neighbor I want to talk to but dont want to blind while still needing some light, all I have to do is wave my hand and the strip light goes off while the focused pen light beam stays on. That is awesome, and completely handy. I dont know how they came up with that idea but Im so glad they did!Along with that function, there are a couple other functions, like a dimmed light and a blinking light (maybe you use that to be seen while running?)So now, when I wear my headband to take out the trash at night, it illuminates almost 360° around my head. And its a pretty big area of light that it creates around me, so I feel incredibly safe wearing it, because theres no way anybody could sneak up on me now. Theres no way Im gonna trip over unseen objects with this on either.Everything around me is wonderfully illuminated! And the battery lasts and lasts. I havent had to charge it again yet (charging it was so easy too) and I just couldnt be happier with this purchase.I feel SAFE again. And thats huge for me. I could see this being a real boon for someone who: works outdoors early in the morning or during the night. Anyone who runs in the darkness. People like me who have to take trash out or get to/from their car, long walks to the mailbox, grocery trips where there are dark parking lots. If you do any of these things and youre by yourself, you will love this gadget as much as I do.Rest assured, this is a good product from a good seller.

I live in the woods, well, in a house in the woods and to navigate around my property at night is challenging. And we have lots of bears around so I have to be extra cautious at night. I have lots of flashlights and those standard headlamps and they work fine but the beam is limited. Then I discovered these LED Headlamps and they really light up my life. They send out a very bright, very wide beam of light. They provide wide light ahead and well to the right and left. I bought a bunch of them, I like them so much. If I’m working in my workshop and it gets dark, I have one handy to get me safely back to my house. Another in my office trailer for the same reason. They recharge quickly with a USB cable.And, they are super useful when I need fo work on my pellet stove and need extra light. Also for projects where extra illumination is useful. I’ve even used this light as a reading lamp in bed. They are very comfortable on the head and I frequently forget I have it on. The other day I got an anxious text from a neighbor who is quite a distance away. I had the headlamp on when I was outside and forgot to turn it off when I came in the house. I was in the kitchen doing dishes and my neighbor saw my light flashing thru ,y window and thought I was signaling her, like a distress signal. We had a good laugh about that since the pile of dirty dishes was distressing me. But it amazed me that the light was so visible thru the trees and across a large pond to my neighbor’s place. Alright, I digress. Yes, this is a terrific light.

Awesome headlamp. Puts out a wide fat beam of light. Not crazy super bright, but lights up the area really well. Two things: first, the unit does not appear as pictured in the description. The picture on this page shows a nice lamp with discrete, separate buttons. What you actually get is a rubber skin over button molds. Big deal: no, but worth a mention. Second, the hand waving sensor proximity is set too far. Meaning, if you enable it and start talking around, like I did while emptying the trash, every wall I walked too close to turned the light on or off. Big deal, nope. I just turned it off.Overall, feels like it's worth the $15 or so per unit I paid. DO NOT pay more than that for these.Other than that, sweet headlamp and now I have two! One will stay home and the other will live in the car.

We had one light. Husband love it so much bought two more. They are very handy when you grill in the evening, when you work under your vehicle, so on. Battery charges fast and we like the motion feature when your hands my be dirty with grease. O....and the light is very bright!!!

I love this light so much I’d like to buy more. I can’t seem to find the same one, or any that have as many light modes. I love this setup and want to buy 10 more. I work in the studios and every show I find we are working in darkness. Great product,

While I use the product mostly for early morning walks in the neighborhood, it is critical for hunting. I love walking in using the red light and walking out with the broad beam. It lights up my entire immediate area on a very inconsistent walking surface.

I’m a mechanic and decide to try this light. The light is really nice, good lighting. With that said my biggest beef is that while wearing this light my forehead was drenched in sweat every time. I would have to see how it holds up in winter. Also the auto on off was great but if you move your head near any object the light will turn on and off. Still a good light for working under a dash.
