Welp, we bought one . . . and now I'm up to 3. These blankets are simply fantastic! I originally bought just one so that I could bring it with on picnics. After spilling all over it, bundling up kids in it, using it on picnic benches, taking it out on the fishing boat, and using it as a makeshift rain cover in Seattle, I can confidently say this blanket has been worth every penny.A few more specific notes:Size - this blanket is great for our family of four (two adults and two small children under the age of 10). Now that I have three we lay them all out next to each other when we have a larger meal to spread out and it's still plenty of room.Water proof - If this blanket can survive waves from the fishing boat and Seattle rain I think it's safe to say it's pretty water resistant. And we're not gentle on it by any means. We wrap it around the kids when we're on the boat because they love to still sit outside rather than going inside and it keeps them cozy and completely dry.Weight - because the fleece is a bit heavier (which I like) it obviously makes the blanket a bit heavier. I can still easily carry it in my backpack though when hiking through the forest.Comfort - We've used this when going to the coast and some lake shores where there's no sad and only rocks. The water resistant side creates a barrier to keep us dry while the fleece side gives just enough padding that we can lay it down on the rocks and comfortably relax (even fall asleep on).Packing - For the first few times I kept trying to fold it first and then place it in the bag. Then I realized there's really no need and now pack up goes faster/easier.Overall: Great blanket - would buy it again and will still probably buy more because we've loved them.

I try to help out stray feral cats in the winter months. I ordered this outdoor blanket to cover/insulate the outdoor crate that holds their water, food, and bedding.I wrapped the crate with the fleece side down with the waterproof side up to keep the crate protected from wind, rain and snow. It's snowing hard right now, we're expecting 4-8 inches. All I have to do is gently sweep/brush off the top of the crate so the snow won't build up. It works great, everything is warm and dry. The food, water and bedding are dry and protected great. In the summer I will use the outdoor stadium blanket for outdoor concerts, outdoor games the family participates in, and anything else I want. I highly recommend this item. It arrived on time in good condition and has many uses. I'm very happy with this stadium blanket.

We now have four of these and they are with us at every sporting event during the cold seasons. I notice that many people complained about them not being warm or thick. The thickness (or lack thereof) was something we were looking for. I wanted a blanket that wasn’t bulky that my kids could carry and easily use. I wasn’t looking for heavy duty quilts that protected from freezing temps. These are great for chilly weather and the nylon layer helps protect against the wind (I used two in 30 degree temps and felt great). I wouldnt recommend them as picnic blankets as the nylon isn’t thick and could snag on sticks, roots, etc. These blankets are easy to roll up and transport and are small enough to keep several in the trunk. I had an issue with one of the storage bags that the come with and customer service was friendly and prompt.

Lifesaver for chilly, misty days. I am a softball and marching band Mom, I am outside ALOT. Completely keeps me dry. The only reason why it's not 5 star is it could be a little warmer. The plush material is very soft and is nice quality, I'm a chilly Mom too so I like a little heavier blanket, but otherwise, I LOVE this blanket!

I bought two of these and am very glad I did! We have only had these blankets for a week and have used one of them three times already! Twice we used it as a blanket while out on a windy soccer field at night, and it kept my two kids and I SO warm each time. We have not tested the waterproof claim, though the material looks like it may just be water resistant, as it's more of a polyester fabric, and not a plastic coating. I don't need this to be waterproof, just windproof, and it sure does the job! It's soft and easily packs up well in the stuff-sack it comes with, which is very handy. I'm giving this 5 stars because it does exactly what I need it to do. This would also be great for camping, watching sports games on chilly nights, or sitting in your backyard on colder evenings!

Love it. I was worried about it being too crinklely/plastic-y, but it's more like a sleeping bag material on the outside. The fleece side is very cozy, blanket-like. Medium pile fleece. Soft and plush, not stiff. Size is perfect to lay on the ground(my 2 teenagers) or wrap around you and sit in your chair. Overall like a fleece lined jacket in a blanket-style. Has a bag to roll up and stuff it in as you would a sleeping bag. Rolled up in the bag it's probably the size of a toddler sleeping bag, easy to throw in your soccer bag for games. Hope this helps someone. Don't know this company, didn't receive this for free or discount, just thought it was a quality product and would share my opinion.

I purchased this as a beach blanket for my dog while I'm fishing. I added tie out loops to the four corners so that I can stake it out. The blanket is very light and keeps the ground moisture from coming through. It packs up nicely in the provided storage bag which is generously sized. We also use it as a dog blanket in the car. It is a very useful piece of equipment and I highly recommend it.

Highly recommend! When I first received it, I didn’t have high hopes since the blanket is very thin and light weight. To my surprise the blanket is warm, wind, and water resistant. I’ve used it along with another throw (not overly thick) blanket underneath and was warm during windy, snowy day 20 degree day. I’ll be buying more for the rest of my family.

Excellent blanket. Folds down to a great size for travel. Washes and dries well and is waterproof and soft to the touch.

This was great, we purchased it to bring on our trip to Africa. It was great on the grass and sand, packs up small as well.

This blanket is perfect. Love the pale grey colour and velvety soft fabric. I use it as a cover on my bed to keep my dog from lying on my comforter.

Purchased these to help stay warm and dry while on the sidelines watching the kids outdoor sports. The one side is a bit plasticalybut stood up well in -5c degree weather. It is compact and I have them in the back of my SUV at all times. You can even lay it out with the plastic side down on the moist ground and keep from getting wet. The fleece inside is very soft and cosey. I have only had to wipe down the plastic side, so I have not needed to wash it yet.

This is warm and snug and not nearly as bulky as a sleeping bag or fuzzy blanket. It works wonderfully in the hockey arena and will work really well outside in front of a camp fire or a rainy soccer game. A must have for outdoor events - especially in western Canada!
