Good as a daily check on my Keto levels
I've been on a Keto diet for about 1.5 years. I started just doing Intermittent Fasting and ended up in Ketosis, so I just went for it. But I realized that I needed some way to track my progress. Urine strips are useless. So I bought this device and have been satisfied with it now for just over a year. My wife is not on Keto so I'm not as strict on my macros as others and I no longer calorie count. The Ketoscan gives me a quick way to track my progress. Later into my journey I bought a Keto Mojo and added blood testing into my routine. I test with the Ketoscan every morning just before I end my fast. On Wednesdays and once on the weekend I add blood testing (beta-ketones and glucose) to get the glucose data point and to correlate to the Ketoscan. I find the blood tests generally track with the Ketoscan but there is variation. If my blood test shows I'm in high ketosis the Ketoscan will also show high, but there is not a direct mathematical relationship. They are measuring different things, so I would not expect them to be perfectly related to each other. But they let me know that I'm still on a good track. Based on this feedback I can often tell by listening to my body when I'm in a high level of ketosis. Some complain about the need to send it back after ~320 uses to have the sensor replaced. I consider that a good thing. Any device will go out of calibration over time, if you want an accurate result it will need periodic calibration. They seem to be pretty quick about it. Even my Keto Mojo includes calibration fluid so I can check its accuracy periodically.I do find the app a little annoying. It forces you to check off on a warning not to test 30 minutes after you eat. There is an option to not show this again, but it shows every time. After looking at this over 300 times I think I get it. Too many buttons to push and acknowledge to get a reading. I don't have any problem blowing at the proper rate, it is not that hard guys. The Keto Mojo app allows me to manually enter breath acetone into the database so I can see both blood and breath readings taken at the same time. But the Keto Mojo app does not properly represent the value to the level of ketosis. I wish the Ketoscan folks would work with Keto Mojo to get this right. It would be even better to have these two devices sync up automatically.I'll continue to use both devices to track my progress for the foreseeable future.

Handy if you must get an immediate ketone reading
I recently purchased the V2 KETOSCAN Mini Breath Ketone Meter, and it has been a game-changer for my diet and fitness tracking. This portable breath acetone analyzer is designed to measure ketone levels and calculate body fat-burning rates in your exhaled breath. What I love most about this product is that it is non-invasive. There is no need to prick your fingers. Blow into the device for 3 seconds and get an accurate reading of your acetone levels. The device is also very user-friendly, displaying your results in PPM (Parts Per Million) on the built-in white dot matrix display, which can be viewed on the mobile app.Speaking of the mobile app, it is incredibly useful and easy to use. You can record and monitor your acetone levels and weight daily, weekly, and monthly, and track your calories with photos of the food you ate. It's a great way to keep track of your progress and make informed decisions about your nutrition and fitness regime. What I found most impressive about the V2 KETOSCAN Mini Breath Ketone Meter is its ability to calculate body fat-burning rates. This allows you to determine your optimal ketosis state and plan your nutrition and fitness regime accordingly. It's a great tool for anyone on a low-carb, ketogenic, or other nutrition and fitness program.Overall, I highly recommend the V2 KETOSCAN Mini Breath Ketone Meter to anyone looking to monitor their fat metabolism and level of ketosis. It's a reliable and easy-to-use device that has helped me to stay on track with my diet and fitness goals.

Makes Keto so much easier!
This Ketoscan Mini has made keto simple & uncomplicated. It’s easy to use once you learn how to breathe out correctly for it to register on the meter. I've been “keto cycling” the past couple of years. I do a few months on keto then a couple of months off. The idea of having to enter every ingredient of every food & the exact amount of each does not appeal to me AT ALL! It’s very overwhelming and when I’ve tried to track macros, I get very frustrated & the tracking doesn’t last long for me. With the Ketoscan Mini, I just check my ketones in the AM when I wake up every morning to have an idea of where I’m starting the day. Sometimes I’ll check it in the afternoon 3 hours after lunch. Some reviews have have complained about having to send the device calibrated. I’ve already done it once & am about to do it a 2nd time & it was a smooth & fairly quick process. Definitely worth the investment if you're going to do keto long term. And I love that there’s no finger stick. I tried Keto Mojo when it first came out & would get an error repeatedly saying it needed more blood. This wasted expensive test strips & I hated the finger sticks! I highly recommend the Ketoscan Mini & will never go back to a blood meter.

Results seem reliable, but the item doesn't feel like it should cost so much.
I'm tracking for the keto diet, and so far this has been easy to use. I would love to be able to use it move often, but with only 300 tests before the device disables itself, I'm kinda regretting my purchase. The device just feels cheap, the plastic feels cheap. It's doing what I need it to do, but I'm not really confident in my purchase especially after realizing the Ketonix device does the same thing, has an app, but does not have a limit on the number of usages.Live and learn- once I've run out of uses, I'll decide on whether I want to go through the whole process of having to send it back for a new sensor or just switching to Ketonix and thinking of this as just a lesson learned with a high price tag.If there was not a limit on the number of tests, I would be a lot happier with my purchase.
