Other places I looked at purchasing this item wanted more than $100. My refrigerator had started taking wide temperature swings. I noticed it kicked on when I opened the door which made me think maybe the thermostat was sticky so the next time I checked on it it wasn't running and I slapped it with the butt of my hand and it immediately turned the compressor on. Replaced this thermostat and fixed it.

I advise watching YouTube videos to learn how to install properly.

customer states unit refrigerator has been working intermittent, now it has stop working all together

No real issues but it would have been nice if it came with a wiring diagram or just markings on the hot and ground connectors. Had to guess, but thankfully I guessed right. Also would have been nice if it came with the plastic sheath that covers the sensor wire. Had to pull it off the old one and get it on the new one, which was kind of a pain. But overall I'm happy because it works perfectly and it solved my issue (Kenmore fridge).

Only lasted 3 months and won't run compressor unless you tap on it.Same issue as the original.
