Shape and size exactly as factory. The only thing is that this is not textured like the factory original, as others have stated. I guess you could find a textured one but be prepared to spend more. I was not willing to fork out a lot of cash for a 15-year-old truck. This is great. I would recommend to anyone who drives an '09 Ford F150 STX. See attached before and after pics.

Purchased and installed this in my truck about 2 years ago. I like to wait a while before leaving the review as now I've actually used this thing for many years and I can honestly tell you whether it's good or bad and how it holds up.In the case of this component it is very good quality. It's got a sort of rubbery finish to it which I was concerned about at first thinking that it would come off however, it looks like the day I put it in the truck still and it's been two years. It hasn't been any warping cracking or anything that you would expect to see in an inferior product. This is not an inferior product it is as good as the OEM bezel. Highly recommended. It was an exact fit and easy to install.

Bought this after disappointment with the Metra version. This opening in this one fits the stereo much better, but getting the stereo positioned where you want it is trial and error. It doesn't index off the bezel. They are completely independent. The matte finish is not as nice as the factory texture, but I thought it was slightly nicer than the Metra. This also comes with a little cubby if you want to install a single DIN.
