Muddy Hands 90 Litre Large Galvanised Metal Bin with Locking Lid Home Kitchen Outdoor Garden Storage Dustbin

Great bins for storage of bird seed etc., but unfortunately, some of the locking mechanisms are very loose, which means that they are not all proof! I have found, to my horror, that the squirrels can unlock some of these quite easily and lift the lids on and off! It sounds like someone crashing cymbals very loudly at 4.30am. My neighbours have not forgiven me yet.

Colour faded ,went rust quick ,need to be painted again. so I had to buy paint.

Bought this to store dry dog food, bin is stored in the utility room. A good size and the lid fits tight. The side clasps are a little loose but would stop the lid coming off if used outside. Not a problem as the bin lid is a tight fit. Will buy a second one for outside to empty the log stove ash pan into while the ashes are cooling down. Happy with this item.

I use this bin for storing chicken feed and needed to protect the contents from rats. The catches on this bin are very secure and keep the lid on firmly. Highly recommended.

Good quality bins let down by poorly fitted toggle latches.......they don't hold the lid on securely and you can simply flick the latch down without using the lever.......pointless having them really!

Good quality, one of the locks holding the lid is a bit too low in mine, so no need of opening it but still secures the lid from the wind or animals.

I'm very pleased with this bin: around three-quarter size of a dustbin, the lid fits securely and there are catches on both sides to further secure the lid, by padlock if so desired.It's not particularly strong or heavy but it's good enough for standard usage: I converted mine into a Faraday cage by lining it with insulating material and I'm pleased with the result.Fair value for money with fast delivery. 5 stars.

There are several safe places in my garden...it did not need to be stuffed in a crevice it could not fit into. As a result, the lid never fitted.
