Love the story, the important topics covered and the drawings are amazing 😍 in love with them.

I don't usually read graphic novels but my friend who I highly respect raved about this retelling of Persephone and Hades. And because I trust her reviews and do like the retelling of what initially is a pretty chilling Greek myth (the irony of making it a love story must have the Greek gods turning in their graves and as a woman, there is some pleasure I take in that) is always a curiosity to me. So I bought the book thinking at least the artwork is different and beautiful capturing women as we see ourselves. And I can recommend the book for that itself, this is definitely done through the female gaze which is refreshing. And now I can't help but think I should read more graphic novels by women to see more of this female gaze in romance with pictures. As for the story, well as many others have said and I will reiterate, it was a fantastic modern retelling of the Persephone and Hades myth. I was devasted at the end because yeah, we have all been there girl, every step of the way. I am looking forward to the second book and preordered. It's so simple, yet so new, fresh, and compelling as a woman reading this. I can highly recommend it to all women I know even if you've never read a graphic novel or don't particularly like romance. It's still worth it as a story of modern love with ancient characters.

I absolutely love this graphic novel, the story flows beautifully with amazing artwork. It is definitely a page turner and I couldn’t put it down. I have read it twice so I could revisit the characters. The themes are adult and brutally honest, so would only recommend for mature readers, but I would definitely recommend this for graphic novel fans, Greek God enthusiasts or anyone who fancies something different.

I’ve followed this WEBTOON since before Rachel changed her style and redid the first few chapters, and I was so excited to see and own the first 25 chapters in print!Though I was dubious about how it’s look in book form and read about the issues people in the US were having with their copies (upside down books, misprints and broken spines) mine arrived perfectly and is absolutely gorgeous. The colours are bold and decadent, and the extra chapter was a brilliant extra.I ordered when it first came on Amazon for pre-order but it was cancelled, I was disappointed as I ordered it 2 minutes after it being cancelled and though it was delayed by a week more it arrived. I was also annoyed that I was charged slightly more for it too because of this.All being said though I can’t wait for volume two to arrive!

I first read this story on webtoon so was really excited when I saw it was made into a book. The artwork is stunning, the use of colours is beautiful. The story is told in a sympathetic and careful manner as it deals with some dark subjects. Its rare that I tear up when reading but this one certainly tugged at my heart strings. This is a very welcome addition to my book shelf. Love Lore Olympus!

Lore Olympus is a GREAT series. I'm up to date on the webtunes comic, however, I wanted to have this for my personal collection. It's also in a larger print, which is great to really absorb the beauty of the comic. It's really interesting to see the author's style change and grow over the course of the series (we're on chapter 170 online), so it's really cool. I love supporting the author and am happy to get this. Can't wait for the next book!

This comic follows the story of Hades and Persephone. Told in a modern-day Olympus, Persephone is new to Olympus and is dragged to a party by her new roomie, Artemis. There she meets Hades and the rest is history.The art style from this author is unbelievably beautiful and the storytelling is amazing. I just can't wait to get my hands on more.

I’ve followed lore Olympus since webtune but seeing the book was being released I just had to preorder. And I was not disappointed, it’s fantastic quality, the art work translates beautifully into the book and the story line is second to none. A fab take on the the tales of the Greek gods. Definitely a book I will treasure!

I first found Lore Olympus through Webtoon and fell in love instantly! Being able to have the physical books in my hands is absolutely wonderful, the evolution of the artwork and the layers to the story and characters are flawless! 10/10!

Chegou antes do prazo, em ótimo estado (livro é complicado, as vezes amassa).E o livro é LINDO, ilustrações bem feitas, diálogos ótimos pra quem está aprendendo, e a ilustração realmente ajuda bem mais nisto. Fica ai minha indicação para você que quer ler seu 1º livro em inglês, acredito que irá gostar!!!
