SCHLAGEF170 BWE 622 COL Bowery Knob with Collins Trim Non-Turning Dummy Door Handle, Matte Black

I'm using these knobs in chrome to slowly replace the old original bright brass knobs in my 60's house. They look sharp and are easy to install. Remove the knob on the screw side before installation otherwise you will hate it. TIP: Do this for any door knob you replace no matter the brand. The finish seems to last so far and I think the knobs are plated and not painted but I'm not 100% sure. These knobs don't work the best with my childproofing knob covers as they are flatter and slightly wider than "standard" knobs. I've installed six of these so far and have about 20 more to get. They're a little pricey to get all at once so they better not discontinue them!

Bought this to replace our handle after we installed the Simplisafe door lock and it matches wonderfully! Took me about 10 minutes to install, instructions were clear and easy to follow. Looks exactly as pictured.

Great product and looks amazing on my white doors. There is 1 flaw in the door jamb strike plate is squared off instead of rounded corners. i used a grinder and just rounded the edges off. You cannot tell it after its installed. I'm not sure why they do this because the locking version for bedrooms comes with a rounded strike plate.

Love this door knob. It looks great, has a nice quality feel when you turn the knob and the finish is superb. However, it is a real pain to install. I have a couple other minor complaints: (1) Some sets came with an exchangeable square latch plate, others had only the one fitted rounded plate with no replacement plate to swap out. (2) The rounded plate is very difficult to remove. I watched countless videos on how to do this, but, alas, the only thing that worked was brut force, which bent the plate underneath so much I had to remove it and hammer it to flatten it. Anyway, I love look of these door knobs. Time will tell on how they hold up to constant use, but I am guessing they will be great.

I bought the same doorknob at a local hardware store for 1 of the bedrooms in my house awhile back because the look and feel of the doorknob is awesome (for a doorknob). What I love the most about them here on Amazon was the Value in buying them here instead. The cost was more the 50% cheaper here, so I was able to afford replacing the rest of the bedroom doorknobs with this style!
