Works well but install is not fun.
This pair of brackets is so cool and a great value! There are NO instructions whatsoever, so it’s best if you have some basic problem solving skills! Between my husband and I, we were able to figure it out and the table now functions reasonably well. It does not have a stabilizing bar connecting the brackets together, so it’s a little fiddly to lift the table top evenly. Best to lift it with nothing on it first.

Not so easy to install
I used it to turn my trunk into a coffee table with the lid lifting out to use as a work surface but, it took a while to install.

Bad quality control
Not happy due to one gas shock being faulty. One works ok, the other offers no gas assist. It’s like there’s nothing in it. Was needing to use these on a piece for Xmas. Now got to look elsewhere!

Missing Screws
Showed up in a timely manner, but it didn't arrive with the mounting screws as advertised.

Qualité surprenante pour le prix.
La quantité de vis nécessaire est surprenante quand on ouvre le paquet. Mais le résultat est que le tout est solide et le plateau (d'environ 25 kg) ce soulève bien. Définitivement, une belle trouvaille.
