So here's the bad: these tabs are as thin as everyone is saying, they are neither clear not opaque under the printable area (transluscent, I guess), and certainly not a great long-term choice for file folders.The good is that they are cheap - two cents each at this writing), they aren't particularly easy to tear, and can likely hold up for a long time where they don't get bumped around much. I've got them labeling thick cardboard dividers on my bookshelf CD collection, and I think they'll do fine under HVAC indoors - though I'd expect fade and early adhesive failure in a humid garage or similar. (Not to mention what would happen to my CDs!) If you want to know about the dividers I used:  If you frequently mark pages in books (student, bible study, whatever) these are a good choice and probably more tear resistant than many less economical alternatives.12/18/22 - And I finally got to benefit from the quality in this tab that is a minus to some: it being very thin! It's also transluscent, and I've been using the tabs to make bookmarks in a book, appreciating how the text I cover up with the sticky part of the tab is still very readable, unless that text is also very light. So if you keep in mind the manufacturer-intended use of the item while trying to hack it to do something else...or maybe I'm the only one to not think about that!

Dislike that they are hard to separate. Hard to make sure you only got one. Love the colors and size.

I ended up using half of them, it comes with a lot for a good price!

Love you can reuse them and adhesive is just as strong.

I love these labels. There is just enough color to find the label easily while the clear background allows the print to be read without any problem. They stick and restick consistently well.

I needed removable tabs that were wider than 1" and these were perfect! I wouldn't use these for filing folders, they're too thin, but they're perfect for dividing papers. I use them for studying; they stick really well and are just as easily removable without leaving any residue.I've used frixion ball pens, pencil, and sharpie, and of course sharpie works the best. Gel pens and markers smear; you need to give it a few minutes to dry. I wish these came in optional pastel colors and plain, as well as different sizes.

I liked them so much, and I will defiantly be ordering them again.
