Well-built with quality materiels but the flow is a bit restricted
Brass valve body and lever with what appears to be a stainless steel ball and a UHMW polyethylene seat. Works smoothly but the opening in the ball valve is a bit smaller than some other valves I've used. Not too bad though.

better than a plastic one
Husband found a plastic one, attached it to the hose - leaked everywhere. So I saw this one and ordered it just as an experiment, decided if it didn't work out then I'd be doing a return. Well, it works, very well. Not a drop leaks.

Installed by hand an no leaks. Nice it came with extra rubber washers. Replaced worn out ones on old hose.

Great shutoff
This shutoff allows you to change spray attachments on your garden hose without needing to go back to the hose bib to turn it off.I have a large garden with 150 ft hose and use power sprayers, soft rain waterers, dog wash soap/rinse sprayer, and fill my pool without needing to go back to the hose bib.I have also attached this to sprayers that don't have their own shutoff so the don't flood the yard while I run back to turn off the hose.This one is all brass so it hold up to the sun.
