The media could not be loaded. It's probably 30 years since I had a swing in the garden. I'm sure the grandkids will love it.Very sturdy construction, very easy to put up, and they include bolts if you're not hanging it in a tree.The rope were easily adjusted for a branch that wasn't parallel to the ground.

Well constructed, wide, comfortable and shaped wooden seat with nice smelling real Hemp rope hangers. The top end of the rope has metal brackets securing the loop which make adjusting for different heights simple. Two carabiners and two metal eyes are supplied with the swing. The rope has a much nicer grip than the nylon type which tends to be hard on the hands. I've mounted this one on an Oak branch and supported it with a strap that has two metal loops, one each end. It makes for a secure support. The rope will stretch a little but the adjustment is, as previously stated, easy.A very robust swing and I can't fault it. A quality product. Five StarsJC

As many others have already observed, this is a way above average (in terms of build quality) swing set that more or less covers every angle in terms of fitting, from branch to ceiling. The thick hemp rope (i.e. real rope - the smell is unforgettable!) is extremely reassuring and the buckles and mounts are also top notch. Ditto, the seat itself is large enough for an adult and the pine, whilst quite light, seems well weatherproofed and should last a good few years. Where I struggle a little with this is on the value stakes, for at just under £50 (at time of review) there are many alternative & very similar spec'd options available for less outlay. I also would have loved to have seen the addition of some padding (rubber inlays perhaps?) on the seat at this price point, as after a while the solid wood does start to grate as little on the posterior! If ever on offer, I'd snap it up in an instant, but at the price quoted, whilst it is still a good and safe buy, probably best to really shop around and compare like for like specifications.

This item comes complete with adequate fixings, hemp ropes and a pretty substantial seat to fix in a tree of similar to produce a swing more than adequate to hold a child or in my case, a quite large adult male.I have treated our seat with Danish oil as a protectant, just applied the oil liberally with a brush and then wiped away the excess oil, allowed it to settle in and repeated the exercise over a couple of days before assembling the swing off the bough of one of our trees.It is really nice, made from mainly natural products (liked the hemp ropes) and it blends into the garden much nicer than the ones with nylon ropes.Good value.

A very well made proper wood swing using proper hemp rope and well made fittings supplied . This can be hung on a branch on a tree or any suitable frame , adjustable rope and it is non sweat and gives a proper grip much better than nylon ropes . The traditional wooden seat is designed with a curve and is non slip with raised sides to make it more comfortable to sit on , the middle of the seat is hollowed out to stop rain water accumulating . I will stain the wood before using to weather proof it and will post an update when I have the swing in position . A good buy that will last .

A beautiful and idyllic tree swing that looks aesthetically pleasing due to the lovely wood grain and thick rope. It just look delightful. And it works well too. It's sturdy and feels safe to sit on as a heavy adult. It is comfortable too.

The swing arrived in cardboard box along with fixings. The seat of this swing is made of real wood and it has bend shape to sit comfortably on it. Its suitable for children and an adults. Its strong and durable swing. I'm not sure about the rope will it last but the seat I'm going to paint with wood stain so at least that would be well protected against all sort of weather. Swing is robust and fantastic for our needs. It can be installed on the strong tree branch or on special construction which can support bigger weight.The price is high for this swing, a bit to high for my liking though..

I like the ropes and the hardware that came with it, very much. But the seat is just a little too narrow for anything larger than an 8yr old.

Die Schaukel ist aus schönem und lackiertem Holz gefertigt.Das Hanfseil ist ausreichend dick und stabil und vermittelt ein angenehm natürliches Feeling.Es gibt keine Plastikteile, stattdessen ist das Hanfseil hübsch ordentlich verknotet.Die Karabiner wirken ebenfalls ausreichend stabil.Belastet habe ich die Schaukel bisher nur mit 75 kg, aber ich denke sie ist stabil genug für einiges mehr an Gewicht.Der Platz auf der Schaukel ist mehr als ausreichend für einen normal gebauten Erwachsenen.
