Q: Can l use this on a tabletop and then put a polyurethane finish on top to make it permanent

I believe it should work fine on a table. I mounted it on my wall, so a tabletop is just horizontal verses a vertical wall. Easy process with instructions of taping to surface, scraping & pressing firmly with something like a credit card, then lifting the backing paper off the vinyl lettering. I did use a ruler & level on my wall but on the table, maybe just needing a ruler. Have fun!
