Apple Watch Stand, Podium by Optium for Apple Watch 38mm & 42mm Holds Apple Watch at Safe and Convenient Angle, [Charging Cable NOT Included]

I like that this product gets my Apple watch off of a flat surface when charging. The stained wood finish is aesthetically pleasing and the channel for the cable is a nice feature. My only issue is that the stand is very light and tips very easily if the balance of the cable and the watch are not perfectly adjusted. After a couple of uses I had that figured out.

I read all the glowing reviews of this product before purchasing it. I now realize that the majority of the people who were paid to review the product don't even own an Apple Watch. So...they never tried to impossible task of positioning be charging cable in the Podium. If you do succeed at getting the cable lodged in its holder, I wish you good luck getting it back out again. It will be stuck there, damaged by the sharp angle, for all of eternity.I'm giving this 2 stars only because it looks so darn good.

This stand should come with one accessory - a wood carving knife. The cutout for the charger was way to small to allow the charging disk to even attempt to be inserted into it. It was made of wood and inexpensive enough so instead of returning it I just carved away more of the cutout until the charger would fit firmly in the stand. The stand design was exactly what I wanted as my desire was to minimize the space that was consumed by a charging stand on my nightstand. There must be very poor quality control in the manufacturing process or something else going on but there was no way, without modification, that the charger would fit.

Well, the product came and the opening where the magnetic charger is supposed to fit was too small. I did have to carve it out, and make it larger. Then I realized that it's not very heavy and can tip over easily. But It's not completely useless. It does do what it's supposed to do, and looks pretty cool doing it.

Too light to actually be able to fight the cord resistance.When bending the core to fit inside the groove of the stand, you start to see how unstable and light this thing really is. It CANNOT stand it's ground and has a very high likely hood of knocking over. Not an ideal holder for a $300 watch.

This watch stand is very attractive but not as stable as I would like. It kept falling over but I was able to arrange the cord in such a way that it is no longer falling over. I think a larger base would be preferable but for the price it is acceptable.

It does what it's supposed to do. Quality could be a little better. It did have some finish issues. Otherwise it's ok.

Nice stand for the Watch. It's finished well, works well and looks nice on my nightstand. I may even be able to find a way to make it work in nightstand mode when the Watch OS updates. But if not, I'll continue using this one.
