They need to be heavier. The rubber backing needs to be thicker

I actually have not installed these yet. We are doing a remodel. You definitely would want carpet tape on the bottom. I don’t know about machine washing, they are pretty thin. I got them to give some grip to the stairs in our mountain home. We are not there often so they should work fine. For the everyday use in a home I’m not too sure. Colors are very nice.

The material is very cheap and it looks like someone sat with pair of scissors and cut them into straps. There is no adhesive and I used a staple gun to keep them in place.

These are really nice quality looking little rugs. They're easy to vacuum, and they solved our problem of having slippery laminate stairs. They give us and our dog a much better grip. It would be nice if they came with carpet tape, because you absolutely need to tape them down. I bought one roll of tape for two sets of the little carpets and just put a small piece of the carpet tape on each end, and one in the middle, for each tread. With that they've stayed down nicely for 6+ months and still look like new. Bought a third set just to have some replacements on hand just in case down the line any get stained or anything.

These ended up working out great on our narrow stairs and have really good grip/stay pretty much in place. From time to time I have to readjust them to the center of the stairs but overall they’ve been very secure when we walk up and down the stairs. Love that we didn’t need something that permanently adhered to the stairs so there is no clean up if we remove them.

They look nice but I bought them so no one would slip on our vinyl stairs. Hubby and son have each fallen since putting these down. Wish they had a sticky or rougher back surface. I think the dog is the only one that has benefitted from them being down. May get some sticky tape to add to the backs.

The non-slip carpet pieces I received do not have rounded corners, some are lighter some are darker in shade/color, and the quality is a bit flimsy.

We love these carpets and they are so beautiful on our stairs. This is the second time purchasing as our rental property needed them as well.

Happy with this product. I purchased two way tape to adhere it to my steps as I felt more secure with them affixed. I think the size is great, these stairs would be slippery daily. This has resolved that issue. I definitely recommend them. I attached photo as well.

Arrived quickly, exactly as pictured. There is a slight curl on one end from shipping, but that it flattening out nicely. I will tape them down, but they are not really sliding much on our hardwood

I bought these to replace some gnarley stair treads that were already in place when we got the house. The price is great and they look nice and neat. They aren't exactly straight, and some are a little more "off" than others, but we have a preschooler and a cat so I wasn't interested in investing in anything expensive. Yes, carpet tape is required but that was simple and gave me peace of mind that I used a good adhesive to make sure the treads stayed in place. I gave them a 3 out of 5 because they are just average. Nothing fancy, definitely imperfect, but does the job nicely.

these are great, really help dogs on the hardwood stairs, and kids too! You do need tape to keep them in place, however.
