Like all northerners I do love a pie and really wanted to make something similar to the ones you get at football grounds, possibly a bit bigger. I saw this set of tins and as there are 4 of us in the family I thought these would be ideal. The tins were easy to use, no real issue with clamping the base in place once you see where it sits. I made pies with the shortcrust pastry all around and there was no real issue with sticking, I just ran a knife around the tin when removing. The size is perfect and I have been asked to keep on making these so this was a purchase well worth the small cost

I ordered the wrong size but actually there perfect! I made mini Christmas cakes in them, lined with parchment paper. They look great, my cakes came out perfectly, and were really easy to clean afterwards. To put them back together, place them on the worktop, put the bottom in and close clip….. easy!

Great quality. Bought for making mini christmas cakes. These are heavy cake tins, so no burnt bottoms. I lined them so unsure of leakage. They look great and come apart easily

We bought them to mske Scotch pies and really worked. They sre wuite good and non stick, the only thing I don't like is the mechanism to open them is quite stiff.

I think these are a fair price and should give some lengthy service. I bought them to make individual keto pizza bases, which means pouring a batter into them. None leaked.One of them does "stick", by which I mean it's harder to slide apart once the latch has been released. I have to jiggle it a bit. Thus a nuisance but not unsurmountable.With regard to some reviewers reporting that is difficult to put the tin bases back into the tin shell and close the lock. The simple solution is to put the base on a flat surface, bowl side up, and drop the outer tin over the top and pull the lever closed. If you try to do it while holding the base and tin round in your hands, you will struggle.Just my humble observations.

I'd been looking for this size of tin for ages. They are perfect for large single pies and many other recipes. I have larger cake size springform tins too. Fairly easy to clean. A great addition to my bakeware.

Had these a while now and have to say they are sturdy little tins. I've used them for just about all types of baking. Great for cakes but I use mine for making pies and the spring form makes them so easy to pop out. After use I put them in the dishwasher.

Nice small size,good nonstick but very fiddly to get bottom in spring loaded sides
