Not as shiny as DMC, but the colors are just as rich. Very good quality. I wound all of this on bobbins and it took me WEEKS, but that's okay. I've got every color I could ever need now!

Thrilled at have much floss this is! The price is of course excellent and the quality is very good. I started using it right away. It's soft to the touch, separates easily and stitches well. My only suggestion for anyone using is to use shorter strands if you are cross stitching. I like a longer strand (18-20 inches) but the floss gets a bit fuzzy for the last stitches. I shortened my strands a bit and have no more fuzzy issues.

My granddaughters have had the best time making friendship bracelets….good investment for entertainment.

I bought the 447 color set and it is an amazing value for the price. The quality is great, feels smooth and has a slight sheen, almost comparable to DMC. The color codes are also DMC based, and if you compare against a DMC thread I would say the hue matches 99%. The packaging was also great, nothing appears to be tangled and all colors were actually packaged in numerical order.

what I liked about the threads was the price for the thread. I love the colors. what I dislike about the threads is that it does not have a color chart you can use to keep track of inventory and also for cross stitch patterns to make sure you are using the right colors.

I was happy to see this is the same label as my previously purchased kits for beginners offered by Lodrid. “for Tyche special”, polyester/polyester blend. Most of the skeins I’ve tested so far match what I already have regarding Due Lots... I love DMC for the luster, and this uses DMC color codes. While DMC holds a higher sheen and more brilliant colors, this is actually easier to work with because it knots far less, and requires the needle drop less frequently, so it’s much faster to work. There are benefits to the less brilliant colors if one knows color theory and is aiming for “light” effects and is willing to mix brands with tha goal in mind (ie, light shining from windows can be achieved using this as an overall muted product and DMC as the brighter product.)For the price, it’s excellent, if one understands that not everything will be “heirloom quality”. It’s perfect for projects done just for fun. The biggest drawback is that the sku is identical on all colors, indicating that they aren’t sold individually as skeins. To increase your qty of one color is to gamble and increase multiple colors. However, it’s not a huge gamble given the cost. For a single skein, a bit pricey to order 447 colors. For 447 colors, extremely inexpensive.

If you're looking to start cross-stitching but don't want to pay the exorbitant prices at the local stores, this is the way to go. Great colors and while they don't quite have the luster of the famous name brand, they are entirely adequate for most projects.

447 Farben - wovon man aber sagen muss, das manche Farben doppelt drin sind.Für mich ist das kein Problem, es kann aber durchaus missverstanden werden.Dennoch ist die Farbpalette gut abgedeckt. Die Fäden haben eine gute Stärke (6 Fäden) - fürs Sticken teile ich sie mir nochmal in 3 Fäden, was auch bereits ausreicht und man hat dadurch nochmal die doppelte Menge.
