This is great because you can twist off the pedestal and use it for cheese. The dome keeps it fresh for entertaining. Using the pedestal is great for serving desserts. Unfortunately the wood required treating as it was dry. Not great quality wood but ok. There was a scratch on it. I chose to keep it because returning it was a pain because it’s bulky. Overall a nice buy.

My first one arrived broken in the box-- I didn't even bother to open it, but I could hear all the glass rattling around. One mention to Amazon, and it was replaced immediately. And, I LOVE it. I prefer it without the base and flat on the counter. The risk of tipping is so much less, and it looks fantastic. I will use it for baked goods when I have some made, but right now it's being used as kind of a bread box-- while it's not large enough for a full loaf of bread, it's large enough for at least three half-loaves of bread-- or some english muffins and a partial loaf of bread, etc.That's really why I got it, too-- I don't bake so much these days, but we do have packaged bread and no place to really put it, since I don't like traditional bread boxes. This really looks great and is large enough to hold a variety of things.Washes well, looks fantastic. Love it!

Lightweight glass dome and sturdy base

It's better than i thought it would be. Absolutely gorgeous and feels well made!

the stand is not round it stands wonky and the glass is scratched. wanted to return but told it is at our cost which costs more than the item.

The wood is cracked and the glass dome is full of defects. This item shouldn't even be for sale or better quality control should be done seeing the numerous problems identified with this product. This was supposed to be a gift... What a let down...

Product is beautiful, however after less than 6 months of use the wood warped and the glass dome no longer sits on top. I have not wet the wood, i wipe it down after use with a cloth. There is no reason from my side that would cause this deformation however the customer care team are blaming me ( after delay in email responses regarding complaint).the product is definitely not worth the money paid.
