I bought this for my mother who has collected Hippo's all her life. She to give away her hippo collection when she moved to assisted living but kept some favorites. This was so different form anything she has ever had.

My boyfriend thought he'd be funny and tell me he only wanted a hippoptomus for Christmas. So away I went looking for a hippo for my love. He didn't expect this in the least but he absolutely loved it! It's very small, but that's what I wanted, so make sure you look at the dimensions before buying so you know what to expect. Super cute and exactly what I wanted.
