Too long and strong

Fast charging. Never regret that I bought it

Not as fast charging as previous cord. Rubber covering the area where cord meets phone split after a month with cord cover starting to fray at same time.

At first I looked at this cable and struggled to see the justification for the price, I have plenty of Amazon basic cables, all of which work perfectly and have lasted really well with heavyish use. When this came in the post I was instantly impressed, you get a white card box that slides open and inside you get a hard case with a zip which protects the cable. This is the first cable I have ever used which gets its own case!The cable itself is a quality you would expect of a high end cable. It has metal connectors at both end and rubber grommets to protect the ends of the cables. The cable itself is double nylon braided and feels smooth in the hand and does an excellent job at protecting the cable. If you move the cable around a lot it should last a long time.Speed wise you get great performance out of the cable. If I’m honest I don’t notice any difference between this and the other Amazon basics cables so I would only recommend this if you want the fancy case or a more rugged cable. The case fits the cable in coiled up with some extra room so if you have a few adapters or other cables you can keep them all in here. I was able to just about fit 3 x 1.8m charging cables in here if that gives you an idea of size. It wouldn’t fit a phone or anything large though.Overall it’s a very premium product if you want something slightly special. I will be using mine to keep my chargers safe in my work bag which travels everywhere with me.Hopefully my review has been helpful.

This product does exactly what it was said to do. charges my phone incredibly fast and it does the work phenomenally. The wires are very thick so they're very strong they're not easily able to rip and I can guarantee that I've had these wires for a bit now and I've been using them ever since there's no tear in it there's the fabric is quite strong as very tightly made. However, 1 issue that arises with these forms of wires and it could be just this product in and of itself is the fact that they are hard to bend. although the product is initially very strong, wires are there for durability, and this product kind of does not provide the ability to do that. However, the product is a great investment I would definitely recommend it if you want your wires to stop breaking because from me using I've realised that there's no chance this wire can actually break.

I like Amazon basics cables a lot - well specified and great value. On this occasion it is better than the OEM Apple cable in just about every way and a lot less expensive! Longer, stronger, better built at the stress points and supplied in a zip case that - if you don’t wish to use it for the cable - is a handy product in its own right for small devices such as compact cameras. Overkill but a lot of value for money.
