Great book. I have been working on oil and gas megaprojects for a few years now, and can recognise the mistakes and successes described in this book - it's like reading a project history, and quite spooky...It's also taught me why management and Clients make some decisions that us engineers and contractors find utterly baffling (though they may not be the right ones). If you want to learn the inner workings of megaproject management, this is a great book to start with - whether you've been working on them for years, or are just setting out.

Dull and somewhat opinionated
Dull and somewhat opinionated. I am not convinced that this book represents world-class or leading edge practice. There are some useful 'dip-in / dip-out' points, but these are equally balanced with traditional and out-dated views (especially when it comes to CAPEX procurement where the author seems a little out of touch).

Great Book. Second time I bought it after my boss confiscated the first one!

Brilliant.
Excellent novel and insight into so many of the issues that are faced in completing megaprojects. Very much worth a read.
