VTech Touch and Learn Activity Desk Deluxe

The desk was very easy to assemble. I bought this as a birthday gift for my two year old daughter and she likes it so far. It's just the right size for her and she enjoys sitting and exploring the pictures and the activities. She doesn't quite understand everything, but I'm confident she will grow into it. The chalkboard underneath is nice, but it's a little hard for her to open. I also wish the activity pages stayed underneath a little better. When the desk is moved, usually by her, the pages slide out onto the floor. The desk is recommended up to age 5 or so, but I think it may be a little small in size for an older child. Or maybe my daughter is a little tall. We have only had this product for a few days, so we are still learning. But overall I would recommend this product. She is already learning new words and seems very interested.

LOVE this desk! I got it for Christmas for my 2.5 year old, along with the expansion package. Within an hour, he understood how to work it (for the most part...the pages still confused him a bit because he tries to put in two at once). I'm really surprised with how into it he is, considering how much he used to love his tablet. I also like how easy it is for me to play with him on it and he loves learning with me. But he can also work it independently. It's a great toy that can grow with him as he gets older and probably the best $40 I've ever spent on a toy. I'm so impressed by how much it can do for that price. My only slight complaint is that it seems like the button that switches from activity mode to music mode seems to get stuck on music mode at times, but that might just be operator error.

After putting this one through a test run this weekend, I am surprised at how well it held his attention.The VTech Touch & Learn Activity Desk is another in the trend of using insert cards to give your kids an interactive, educational experience. This activity desk, however, had a few more bells and whistles than some of the other options out there.The T&L Activity Desk says it is designed for kids age 2 to 5. Most of the insert cards cater to the younger end of that spectrum so it is probably best suited to kids who are just beginning to learn their letters and colors. Purchased for my 2yr old grandson He took to it immediately and plays on this all of the time. It was a little tricky trying to get him to not rest his hand or arm on the top as that makes everything start talking all at once. Very sensitive Once he got the idea of only pushing one button at a time it worked like a charm. Great gift, might be better for 3-4+ Well made, easy to assemble and great that it includes the perfect size stool I also purchased a few of the additional packs that offered different learning boards.

i brought the previous version of the same learning table for my brother's son and that was OOS at many places when i wanted the same for my son. Luckily found this and like the fact that you can buy extended sheets to teach them more using the same table. It works great and the best part is it stops at random on the ABC song asking kids what letter comes next and every time its a different letter. Wish there were more songs and we are yet to try other sheets.Only downside, i removed 1 star is because we have it on hardwood and the table and chair legs are really smooth and it moves or gets pushed when my son tries to sit on it. It frustrates him and stopped sitting on the chair. I cut the cloth and glued it to the legs now it doesn't move. Wish VTech can can send some cloth or stickers that can be used with it

I love it! My toddler loves it! Size is good and the chair is just perfect! The table is very sensitive to touch, so it was difficult at first to get my 2 year old to understand that she can't rest her arms on the table and push items near the top of the desk. She loves lifting the top up and storing the extra sheets underneath. There is a clip to hold paper when the top is lifted, but she has an easel, so we haven't used as a drawing board quite yet. Overall, great product-- only con is that it is very sensitive to any touch which may be difficult for a young one to understand.

Not bad. My 1,9 years old likes to play and draw on it, she hides some snacks under the desk. At first she pressed the letters all together, but now she understood the principle of work. One minus I spotted is that it’s not as steady in an easel position of the desk. I put it in front of the wall, so my daughter can press more with pencil when she draw. And also it will not replace the regular kids table, as I hoped

Took a chance on this desk as my son is nonverbal and typically does not play with toys functionally. But he loves, LOVES numbers! So I figured he would play with the numbers on it if nothing else. He LOVES THIS! If it breaks I’m sure I will buy another. It comes with four sheets to play different things. I bought the extra big pack to go with it. He got this in January and he has yet to even need more sheets. So I could’ve done without them. Great toy for all kids!
