Marshall Field's Cookbook Classic Recipes and Fresh Takes from the Field's Culinary Council

I had to get this cook book as I am from Hinsdale, Illinois and we use to always go to Marshall Fields for Lunch and for Holiday Lunches. I also went to school up on the North Shore where they had their family estate. It's a great cook book for the summer salads and such. But the Frango Mint's deserts, unless you live there would hardly know or be able to get without ordering on line.It's more a sentimental book of old school type cooking but a few recipes are with a new twist. So in all it's a good book for the $ or now £ pounds for me living in England.
