Great Fabric
The fabric on this seat breaths and doesn’t get hot, which is important in our Texas heat. No more sweaty butt! The Palma shape looks odd and I was worried that I’d end up leaning inadvertently back on one of the ends, but that hasn’t been a problem. I would suggest (as with any casting seat) to use an easily adjustable post for the best comfort and sitting/leaning options. Two reasons I don’t give this seat top marks are #1- The bottom end corners should be rounded instead of squared off. I came in contact with them a few times while grabbing things off the floor of the boat and they’re a bit sharp. #2- The keyholes on each end look like they have a specific purpose, but no info on them anywhere I could find and no answer back from the company when questioned. I use them for a retractable line cutter. All in all it’s a good idea for a seat. A few tweaks would make it great!
