Easy to assemble and nice that it is adjustable. Although it has several sections and is small in diameter, it is still remarkably sturdy and with the multiple feet on the bottom, it sits in the ground firmly. Perfect for a plant or birdfeeder.

I like the 5 prongs. The one it replaced only had 2 and I couldn't stop it from leaning and bending. This one doesn't lean or bend.

This is one of the good ones. Exactly as advertised: painted steel, easy to assemble, adjustable height, study base, attractive. And you get TWO, which is unheard of and you'll order even more. I did!

This hook came in great, well organized packaging. The hook itself is strong and well built, not cheap thin metal. The forked base keeps the pole sturdy and straight. Combined with the baffle, I've had no squirrel problems getting to our bird feeder. It's taller than all other hooks too which is a great plus. Will buy from this company again for sure. Great packaging and easy to read and follow instructions.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. I bought a bug zapper and needed to hang it from something. It's ideal for bird feeders but I was worried that this might not be sturdy enough for my zapper. To my surprise it was. I like the double spike system it has for going into the ground. You push down one set of spikes, and then another set goes in at a 90 degree angle, making it surprisingly secure. It is also quite attractive, and looks like shepherd's crook.

Finally, a truly heavy duty shepherd's hook. I'm so tired of these thin walled tubular things that bend and fold when you look at them wrong… not this one. This one is almost as solid as a piece of rebar.The only downside is the anchor part (fork/spike) could benefit from a few more inches to grip better in looser soils… But mine is hard packed and mixed with gravel, so I'm just theorizing here.

The bird feeder stand appears to be sturdy for heavier feeders, however the box came opened up. Most of the upright pieces were missing. Sent it back and hopefully the next one to arrive is complete to be used.Even the picture the driver took to validate delivery shows the open box. Nobody thought to look.

Extremely well made. Segments fit tightly. Recommend 92 inch pole to keep feeder above jumping range of squirrels.

I used this to hang a large cage style bird feeder. The hook is a good distance from the pole, which means the feeder can swing freely without banging into the pole. The pole is made from heavy gauge metal and during high winds only sways slightly. The forks are long and sharp, which means it’s easy to push into the ground and you end up with a very firm fixing. Overall I’m very happy with this. I just need to figure out how to encourage small birds to the feeder now :)

As advertised, it appears sturdy and appropriate for its use as an ideal support for a hanging bird feeding station

Not really strong enough for me as I have a heavy squirrel proof feeder and the pole developed a curveVery easy to assemble and put in place It would be great with a light feeder

It is made of heavy duty steel, that has been enamelled to a high standard. The screw threads joining the components are well engineered, giving a tight fit and a solid connection. Also looks good.Hope it will defeat the squirrels!
