Prorslat Heavy Duty Prorack

Installation: The rack was easy to install. I installed multiple racks and connecting them was also easy. I only got one vertical bar to mount on the stud. The others didn't align so I had to use the horizontal bar to lag bolt into the other studs. Mounted 3 racks in all. I recommend hand tightening all the bolts that hold the rack together until assembly is complete. Then tighten them down once the entire rack is completely assembled.The Product: I have a couple hundred pounds on each rack with no problems. A 30 pound electric scooter is hanging from one of the hangers without issues. Functionally, it performs well. The lag bolts that came with the rack is holding the rack to the wall solidly. The appearance is the only minus as it is made of metal and metal mesh. It would fit perfectly in a warehouse setting. But in a finished garage like I have, the racks look a little out of place.

Love the shelf, it works great and hold a ton of stuff. Putting it together can be a pain

Not bad to install, instructions are a little difficult but just need basic skills and a level to get straight. Sturdy, holds 3 bikes no problem

As some others have found, I had to modify two brackets to get them to fit, and had to do some creative work to get the grills to fit properly in place and stay there. Instructions were horrible, with images that make it hard to tell which way the pieces are oriented, and apparent translation into English from (?? Chinese??), with the usual context problems. Mounting it was frustrating, but once in place, I can verify that it's plenty sturdy.

I bought this wall-mounted shelf in used condition and it came with 2 screws short that I had to get in Home Depot ($1.4).Pros: Excellent shelf that I use for hanging 3 bikes. Top shelf houses my lawn mover. Hooks could hold all kinds of stuff. Very solid, well made product, recommended.Cons: instructions are wrong as other reviewers pointed out. Basically a step is missing and you have to backtrack to perform it, losing 10 minutes in setup time. Not a biggie, imo.

The instructions for assembling are poor at best. You will need two people to install this shelf, especially if you're hanging it on the proslat system. Beware that you’ll have to undo and redo fasteners, as many points join up to two or three support arms. So be prepared to undo the nuts and bolts until your “erector set” is complete. Just look at the pictures closely to determine what these supports are facing. Finally - have a bottle of googone as the stickers denoting the support members don’t easily peel off.The mounting anchor for the proslat system must be requested from the company after proof of purchase is shown.

Really like these racks, just one suggestion throw away the wall mounting bolts away and go buy different ones from a hardware store, they are cheap hardware and as I was install them three of them broke, I bought new bolts no problem, other then that no problem and love these racks or shelves

Very good shelf, and holds a ton of weight. It's time consuming to install, and may require a friend or handy man.

Works sufficiently well as a garage shelf. It took 3 hrs for me to install it and only because I have others of the same type already installed. The manual needs to be improved - pictures are very poor. It would have helped if the install kit came with a template for the holes that had to be drilled for the mounting screws. And without any doubt, having a ratchet wrench available for the install would be extremely beneficial. Had I used the tool that came with the kit, the install time would have doubled.

Solid product. Using it in garage for a recycling centre mounted 38" above the floor. Big bins below. lighter bins on top.

The instructions for this are as bad as other reviews indicate. You're expected to build sections, then unscrews bolts, again and again. But that's not even the worst part. Multiple sections arrived with misaligned holes making the entire process futile since nothing lines up. But I only discovered this after lag bolting this into my drywall/framing.Also the overhead rack has a lot of flex, especially when trying to support a Bob stroller.
