I got them as a novelty, but just bought a 2nd set as a gift. The receptacle for the citrus is small; it is only for one slice. But it successfully filters out seed, is not hard to squeeze, keeps your hands from getting wet with fruit juice and seems sturdy enough to last if you don't bang them around in the sink. They are also a nice way to get citrus onto the food without a mess because the spout concentrates the flow.

Some have said they break but I think they will be fine if you put one finger on the lever and one in the middle when you squeeze. Biggest concern I have is the plastic they made them out of seems to get sticky even if you rinse after each use. Makes me wonder if it is a food safe plastic? Wish they were glass with a stainless lever.

I suspect it may have been caused by the natural wax on lemon peels, which is not only unsightly but also raises hygiene concerns.Another issue I encountered was with the lemon slices. Getting the slices to the exact size required for this juicer proved to be a bit tricky. Slices that were too thin or too wide just wouldn't work properly, which made the juicing process more frustrating than it should have been.While the cuteness factor is undoubtedly a selling point, I believe a lemon juicer should primarily excel at its core function – efficiently juicing lemons. Sadly, this product falls short in terms of durability and ease of use, making it hard to recommend. If you're looking for a lemon juicer, it might be wise to explore more reliable options on the market.
