These are metal and they have a pullback motion, so all wheels move. Well made. We bought these as a back to school gift for my kids classmates.

Q: Do the doors open and close?

The doors are closed, they do not open.

Q: Are these a keychain?

To answer quickly, No the are not. Some clarification is in order. Kinsfun produces two versions of this exact same bus. One with a keychain attached and one without. Look at the photo in this offering, No keychain attached. If someone ordered from this page and got keychains, they received the wrong item. If you order these you should get NO keychains. Search for Kinsfun school bus keychains if that is what you want. Also notice the size, they are smaller than hot wheels. Hope this helps.
