Strong, sturdy, transforming toy!
Feels very well built, strong and sturdy material, not your typical chintzy plastic toy! My kids LOVE these. Pretty intuitive on how to transform, too.

These are authentic, the ones to buy !
The cheaper one that I purchased claimed to be authentic, but as you can see there are a lot of differences in quality ! The cheaper version is the one with the missing parts, because it just fell apart a few days after being played with. The inside is hollow whereas the authentic version has a lot of strength incorporated into the design which is what allows the toy to stand up. The arms have huge differences, the leg mechanisms are more complex, and the thickness of the plastic is a big factor in its durability in comparison. I included a pic of the two side by side with the authentic one (purchased here) being on the left. My son has now been playing with this authentic version for a month with no missing parts and no broken pieces... would definitely buy again !

Good toy - pieces pop off though
My 3.5 yr old loves these characters. Pretty sturdy plastic material/construction. The arms and legs pop off at the sockets-pivot points way too easily though, and I’ve had to “fix it” a dozen times in first hour of play. Not sure how many times I can keep doing that before the joint breaks or loses all integrity. Overall gets 4 stars (for now) for general quality of material and accuracy of character. Price point feels a little bit high.

Not easy for toddlers or adults
Great idea but execution is very difficult. Adults find it hard to transform and the parts don’t go together, leaving open gaps in the car body. We thought it would be a great way for our toddler to learn to use his fingers to manipulate the parts. But we are leaving it as a car and hope it doesn’t transform.
