Great case! The fit is perfect. Took less than a minute to install. Removed the screen cover from the back by peeling back the rubber a little and pulling out the cover. Removed the protective plastic from the screen cover, set my fire7 tablet in and snapped the screen cover on. No loss of touch sensitivity at all. The buttons are perfectly placed and just as responsive. The rubber tabs that cover the headphone jack and charging ports are easily pulled back, keep dirt out of them, and still feel substantial enough to not be torn off. I already dropped it from 3ft high with no damage. The stand part does feel cheap and flimsy though. For what I paid ($8 from warehouse deals) it's an awesome value.Update:Still no issues and it hasn't fallen apart yet. It's been over 1 year.

It’s a solid case with a built in screen protector. If you’re not super confused about how to open the case to install the tablet, you’ll be good. It just takes a little finesse to gently pry it open. If you’ve owned an otter box phone case then you know what I’m saying. It’s definitely worth the money. Very nice and sturdy. I use it daily in a manufacturing environment on a forklift and I’m glad I bought this to protect my tablet.

Kindle has inclination for dropping so this protects the corners screen from damage. Good insurance for if you carry it out in public.

I had a difficult time trying to figure out how to get my Amazon fire in the case. No instructions came with it so it was mostly me trying to pry it open. Finally figured it out and then I realized that the screen protector that came with it is actually glued onto the front of the case. I purchased more screen protectors to change out but I’m not sure I’ll be able to since this came with one glued to it.
