I run a lot and my feet pay the price. A lot of the pain is related to hip issues and presents in my feet. A friend recommended this product and I tried it. It's painful at first, so I don't recommend you initially try it with socks on. I also recommend you start with 30 secs and gradually increase your time on it. I found that after a few times I got accustomed to it and it started to alleviate the pain in my feet and my hips. I continue to use it as part of my post-run routine and since I've done that I haven't had a recurrence of the pain. Life is pain, running is pain, this product gives a bit of pain but it really works.

I have had other mats - the plastic on this mat is too hard for me.

This mat works wonders for my feet. At first I placed a hand towel over it to get my feet warmed up to the idea! Soon after, (the next week) I was able to remove the towel. After using this mat, I usually roll a massage ball with each foot, followed by an epsom salt foot bath. My feet thank me in the morning! Quality product! Very convenient. Great addition to any self-care routine!

I bought this because I have been dealing with planter fasciitis for months now, I had read in another review that they put a towel over it to get used to the hard bumps, so I did that and yes I have to say it helps until I get used to it, it’s a foot massager! Feels so good!!

This thing is as hard as a brick! There’s no way I can stand on it with both feet. I might return it
