The RTIC 20 is a great personal cooler. It is very practical for everyday use and can be taken to work, camping, hunting, or fishing. This cooler keeps your food & drinks colder longer and holds up to 24 cans plus ice. The cooler is equipped with a heavy-duty stainless steel handle that locks upright for easy one-handed carrying. You can truly take this cooler anywhere!

By far the best cooler in it's price range
I have used this cooler for about one year now and feel like I can give an honest review. I really like this cooler a lot. Will it keep ice for two weeks in blistering sun? No! Does it keep ice twice as long as any cooler I have ever owned? Yes!!!The cooler is heavy even when empty but I knew that before I ordered it. It's heavy duty enough to last a life time and does a great job. I purchased this during a sale and wished many times since that I had got one of each size. I will be watching for them to go on sale again.

Just OK - Cold, but Heavy and Lid Gets Stuck
PROS:Looks greatKeeps ice for much longer than standard coolersCONS:Limited space: walls are so think you lose a lot of interior spaceHeavy: At around 18lbs empty this cooler isn't great for hauling fully loaded with ice and drinksLid gets stuck: Our lid gets stuck closed if the lid gasket gets wet and requires two people to pull it open and break the seal.WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN:No. I'd get a bigger-sized cooler of this type and a bag-style one for smaller use.I've had one of these coolers for a year now, and compared to my previous Coleman, it does keep ice for much longer. I can pack it in the morning and take it to a hot baseball tournament and find cold drinks at the end of the day. That being said, its heavy proportionate to its size and the walls are so thick that it really cuts down the usable space inside. Additionally, we find the the lid gets a pretty strong "vapor lock" if the black lid gasket gets wet, enough so that it takes two of us to open the lid.

Holds ice but doesn’t hold up
Holds ice well but that’s about all this has going for it. I think they used to be “half” the cost of a yeti but as of today the same size yeti (roadie 20) is $7 more than this one on sale at REI...First use two of the rubber feet broke off and would not go back on and the handle completely came off while lifting it out of the car. Yeti is far better for $7 more. I returned it.

Great cooler! Exceeded my expectations
Great cooler! Exceeded my expectations. Keeps ice 2 - 3 days. If your pre-cool it with ice before filling it up, ice will last 3+ days. I've only owned and used it a little over a month; but I am very satisfied. No problems with construction or shipping, as a hand full of people reported. Yes, it is heavy, so if you want a cooler for a day at the beach or lake, you will want to choose a lighter type. But that's the trade off for superior cooling. Now for the important stuff. It will hold about 12 - 15 bottles of beer or cans. I would recommend a maximum of 12 in order leave plenty of room for ice. Sorry Yeti fans, but this RTIC is a great, less expensive option. I do recommend.

Consider this before buying:
All these roto-molded coolers apparently appear to be made all by the same manufacturer. This item is heavy, even empty and honestly speaking, it does not hold ice for as long as they say these roto-molded coolers portray. Is it better than those cheap Coleman foam insulated coolers, yes. I'm a truck driver and would've liked to get 2 days out of a bag of ice, but at least getting into the wee hours after the first day isn't bad.

Highly recommend! Great price.
This pproduct keeps ice for a very long time. My husband brings it to the boat and it sits in the sun but still has ice in it after 2 full days. Very reasonably priced considering how well it keeps things cool. I refused to buy a Yeti because of the price and we are very pleased with the performance of this cooler.

Love it !! But......
Love it. Friend of mine got me a Yeti 65 for Christmas and wanted something a little smaller and not so heavy for everyday use. Thought I would try out the rtic and man this is a awesome little cooler. And for the price difference in the Yeti ya can’t beat it. No leaking issues like I read some people say on the Yeti. Keeps ice for days even in the back of my truck with a cover on it. Handle locks in the center position nicely for carry. Folds down in the back nice. Definitely would recommend to a friend!!Update. Started leaking around the drain plugs got my truck carpet all wet. Had to return it. :(

An excellent cooler, at a better pricepoint than the competition
Absolutely made overseas, but what isn't these days. The RTIC 20 is an excellent size if you are individually traveling and are looking for 2-5 days of cold. The cooler seals great and I have not had any issues after 6months of use. I will eventually get the bigger size for different outings. I love the handle, but if it was any bigger this style of handle would not be effective because it would get too heavy.
