Every woman should read this...
This book should be on the reading list of all women of a certain age! Absolutely essential reading! Sophie Fletcher has a wonderful writing style; her natural, conversational manner makes the book very easy to read, whether you choose to just dip in and out of certain chapters, or read it in chunks... She clearly cares very deeply for the subject matter and has done a mind-boggling amount of research to produce this book - no mean feat then, to have also presented it in such an easy-to-digest manner. The book is full of mindfulness techniques, tips for self-care, genuinely-achievable activities that you can realistically fit into a busy routine, as well as a wealth of information on the physical and emotional side. It's chock-full of positive, reassuring language and really does make you feel better-equipped, and just generally less worried about the whole thing! I always came away from each chapter feeling positive.... Highly recommend.

Simply excellent!!!
I am a mindfulness teacher and complementary therapist who specialises in women's health and focus on perimenopause, menopause and post menopause. I am also a perimenopausal woman. This book is genius and I would highly recommend it to others. Well written making it easy to follow and implement the exercises within. I'm very happy with this book!

Practical advice and great tracks
I was given the author’s first book for my last (very geriatric) pregnancy and found it full of practical advice and easy to do exercises. Have bought this one in preparation for the next stage. One of the things I enjoyed about the first book was the relaxation tracks (had them playing throughout my labour). She has a wonderfully soothing neutral tone of voice. Also like the fact that it’s not another celebrity showcase, but rather written by an author who seems to have a good understanding of the female body and who provides advice to get us through without making a song and dance about the whole thing!

Beautiful and helpful
I love this book. I also bought the audiobook too. So many insightful moments and techniques and is written, as others have said in a way that it feels just comforting with every word, like a good friend supporting you. I simply don’t have enough words to describe how this book made me feel. Positive, empowered, able to cope, felt calm just reading it. Honestly one of the best books I have read and listened to in a very long time.

Interesting if you know nothing about menopause
Quite repetitive but great for ladies who need some ideas but not for anyone who already understands mindfulness. Info about hypnosis which didn't really fit into it. Plenty of exercises to do

I've bought this for a load of my friends!
This book is much needed. Straight away, it began to lift the fear and negativity that I knew I was starting to feel about the menopause but was struggling to combat. It is a refreshing and common sense read, littered with hypnotic suggestion and exercises to help you feel empowered, excited and liberated going into this phase of your life. And who wouldn't want that?

A Revelation!
What a revelation we are not going mad after all! All women should read this to prepare them. Beautifully written by an inspiring and talented author. Thank you Sophie for you insights to a tricky but beautiful time!
