I’m Pure Cica Suncream, Sunscreen For Sensitive Skin (I'M PURE 4.05 FL.OZ)

I first discovered this sunscreen at Costco. They stopped carrying it and I found it on Amazon. I have also purchased at a Korean skincare sight. I really like the unique texture. Where other mineral sunscreens feel either thick (in a bad way) chalky or oily, this is light and creamy and absorbs really well. I have tried many other mineral sunscreens and and still go back to this. It doesn’t leave a white cast on my skin. It doesn’t pill up with the moisturizer I use (CosRX) and it doesn’t sting my eyes. Top marks & head of the class.

This product smells kind of rotten and although it lingers it becomes less intense. The formula applies smoothly and feels lightweight, however when it dries it does feel like something is on your face. The finish is very matte which I like and it keeps me pretty matte most of the day. The product isn’t advertised as waterproof or sweat proof but I feel as it is. I’ve jogged and played sports with this sunscreen and any perspiration collected in beads. There is a slight white cast that remains throughout the day. I use this almost daily but there are days when the smell gives me a headache. I like to use this when my skin is slightly irritated. When my skin is in great condition I’ll use a chemical sunscreen.

I've tried so many mineral sunscreens. It's impossible to get away from some white cast. But, this sunscreen rubs in easily and white cast is minimal. It's a bit too drying for me but I apply a thin lotion on top of it and it's perfect. I wear it on a daily basis and it definitely protects my skin from getting age spots.

Product consistency is good but I couldn’t get over the bad smell. It smelled expired and sour. Because of this, I did not want to use the product.

I have combination type skin more on the drier side in the winter and oily in the summer. This has been my go to for years. I have gone through 4 bottles. If you have oily skin. This is your sunscreen! Its has the natural type of sun protection for its main ingredient. I try to steer away from chemical sunscreen since there isnt any studies saying its coral reef safe or skin safe to begin with.

It works great under makeup. The only thing is it leaves a white cast over your face. I’ve had my husband come and tell me that my makeup doesn’t match my skin while only wearing the sunscreen lol

Everything is good about it (not smelly, can wear on face under makeup, etc) except it stings my eyes and makes them feel tired like every other sunblock I've tried. An esthetician recommended this to me as a product that wouldn't sting my eyes, but nope. As a note, I don't put the sunblock around my eyes.
