Wore for 8 hours in rain. I was soaked after. Waterproofing lasted for about four hours

Haven't worn them outdoors yet, just to try on. Fit is ehhh right out the package. That thin elastic band doesn't work that good. The backside at the waist would start to drop within a few steps. I had a much better drawstring put in them. Now they don't drop.I'll update after the first rain I wear them in.

These pants are great for walking in the rain. I stay totally dry! The fit is good and I can tighten the ankles depending on which boots I am wearing.

Nice wide adjustable opening at the ankle for going over boots and shoes. Zippered pockets a plus. On a wish list, I would like to see an opening in the zippered pockets to access the pockets in the pants underneath.

Nice pant, but from what I ordered, it looks like I ordered the gray pant. Thought I got a blue pant instead. Not sure if this was an error on my part or not. The pant itself is great and made well. Now the black pant is fine, but I would of preferred it to be a nylon material, as it stated in the original order. Instead, it was made of polyester. So a bit disappointed there. If you are buying an item, it should be exactly what the item description is. Other than that, the pants are made well, even the one made of polyester is a nice pants. I would order again, but I would make sure I was getting the material I wanted. I feel the nylon one is more light weight than the polyester one.

Got this item with golf in mind, but might throw in the hiking backpack as well. Ordered a size up to ensure they could easily fit over golf pants and still allow for good range of motion. They look baggy around the lower calf/ankle because of this and I probably didn’t need to size up, but who cares? I have only tested them during a partial round, but it was conditions similar to what you can get in Ireland or Scotland, and they did their job. I have faith they’d last a full 18 in almost all conditions.

I wore these for the very first time riding my bicycle in a windy and heavy rain for 35 minutes. These kept me completely dry, but I was not sweaty. The fabric breathes very well while still keeping the rain out. These are still a little baggy even over clothing. The hook and loop fasteners at the bottoms of the legs allow you to cinch these up very small to keep splashes out.

These are light, versatile waterproof pants. I use them as an outer layer with leg gaiters for skiing and winter hiking. I find this much more comfortable than one-piece snow pants.
